There are only 13 more days until I graduate. When did this honestly happen? I still can’t believe it and I’m choosing not to let it hit me yet, because if I do, I’ll get extremely sad. I’ve had so many great experiences here that I will never forget, I have changed so much as a person, and I’ve made some really good friendships with people that I hope will always continue. That’s what I don’t like about graduating.. the people who you think are your friends and will always be there suddenly disappear because you are in a new school, and you forget about each other. You make new friends, and all of this will soon become a distant memory. That’s what’s so upsetting to me. I’ve had some great teachers too who I’ve learned so much from and will miss them. Time just flies by so fast, and we never really have time to take it all in before it ends. I remember the first day of Senior year.. now I have 13 days left?? I feel like I’m going to watch an older grades graduation, not going to my own. Some of my younger friends told me they are going to go to my graduation, and I had to stop and take it in for a second. It’s so weird. There’s going to be a lot of exciting events coming up for seniors that I’m sure will be really fun, but sad at the same time. Just have to enjoy each day I have left of Senior year to the fullest. One of my good friends told me this, and I will try to remember this for the next couple of weeks to hold me together, “Don’t think of it as a goodbye, just a see you later.” I love you! if you read this, you know who you are <3
